“Turning Mistakes into Masterpieces: How I Designed a Login Screen from a Gaming Controller Web-Page”

As a UI/UX designer, it’s not uncommon to get sidetracked and forget about specific design challenges. That’s exactly what happened to me when I forgot about a daily challenge to design a login screen and instead designed a webpage for a gaming controller.

i was just surfing youtube like any-other normal day and i saw a video about designing a gaming controller page by — nikhil pawar . and i just wanted to design the same thing i spent a lot of hours designing it ( ps- i am new to figma) .

When I realized my mistake, I didn’t panic. Instead, I looked at the gaming controller page and tried to figure out how I could alter it to become a login screen.

I started by examining the layout and identifying which elements could be repurposed for a login page. i saw that the text can be easily replaced so i just did that .😉

In the end, my mistake turned into an opportunity to showcase my design skills and creative problem-solving. It’s important to remember that mistakes happen, but it’s how you respond to them that truly matters.
